It’s safe to say that sometimes the relationship between many truck drivers and the police can be, at best, a bit contentious. That was not in the least bit evident when Madison County (Nebraska) Sheriff Deputy Sgt. Todd Volk risked his life to save a trucker in trouble. What came in to 911 dispatchers as a reckless driving call turned out to be a trucker suffering from diabetic reaction.
