After a cross-country trek with dozens of stops along the way, the 2016 Capitol Christmas tree arrived in Washington, D.C. The 80-foot-tall Englemann Spruce formerly stood in the Payette National Forest in Idaho. It was delivered by Gary Amoth, owner of Gary Amoth Trucking, who was the primary driver of the specially-decaled Kenworth T680 with a 76-in. sleeper, Paccar MX-13 engine, Eaton Fuller Advantage 10-speed automated transmission and Kenworth TruckTech+.
