A driver of a UPS tractor-trailer got a woman to safety after her wheelchair became stuck on railroad tracks in Phoenix.

Ken Westbrook, who has driven for UPS for some 40 years was waiting to make a left turn Wednesday, Jan. 27, when he saw a woman in a wheelchair stranded on the tracks of the city’s light rail passenger train. He stopped his truck, got out, and pushed the woman to safety.

Westbrook told KPNX-TV, “I wasn’t sure if the light rail was going to slow down or see her, so I got out so he could see me.”
