A FedEx driver risked his own life to pull the driver from a fiery wreck on a California interstate.
The driver was southbound on Interstate 15 near Scripps Ranch in northeastern San Diego Wednesday at about 3 a.m. when he saw a Toyota Camry hit a guard rail and catch fire.
The FedEx driver was caught on video reaching into the car and dragging its driver to safety. Shortly after the car exploded.
He told ABC 10News, “As soon as I saw the car, it was still actively on fire. You gotta stop to see if you can do anything at all."
The driver of the Toyota was taken to a nearby hospital with what appears to have been a serious leg injury.
