Truck travel through eastern Tennessee and western North Carolina continues to be difficult as repairs continue on hundreds of roads and highways damaged by Hurricane Helene in late September.
Work continues on Interstates 40 and 26 and much of the normal truck traffic into and around the regions hit by the storm has been forced onto detours and smaller highways.
This has become a problem for one small community in Tennessee.
