Werner opens new terminal in Joliet, Illinois

Werner Enterprises recently opened a new terminal in new Joliet, Illinois, replacing its Channahon, Illinois drop yard.

The 64,100-square foot building will provide drivers with:

  • laundry facilities
  • fitness rooms
  • showers
  • lounge
  • phone charging stations
  • complimentary ice
  • arcade
  • dog run
  • ATM
  • company store
  • driver simulators
  • computer based training

The facility also includes 26 acres of paved parking and a maintenance shop.

“We are excited to provide a new state-of-the-art facility that will enhance the lives of our professional drivers,” said President and Chief Executive Officer Derek Leathers. “This aligns with our initiative to continue building, expanding and upgrading our terminal network nationwide.”
