
Few dishes are as welcome or as warming on a cold winter day on the road as a bowl of chili.
With this recipe and some simple utensils, you can make you own right in the comfort of your trucks cab.
Ingredients
• 1⁄2 cup onion, chopped
• 1⁄2 lb. ground beef
• 2⁄3 cup stewed tomatoes
• 1 cup tomato sauce
• 1 cup kidney beans
• 1⁄2 cup water
• 2 tsp chili powder
• Garlic powder
• Salt
• Pepper
Directions
1. In the RoadPro Saucepan, sauté the onion and beef until meat is browned and onion is tender. (Approx. 15-20 mins)
2. Stir in the stewed tomatoes with juice, tomato sauce, beans and water.
3. Stir in a dash of chili powder, garlic powder, and salt and pepper to taste.
4. Cover and let simmer for 1 hour.
5. Serve and enjoy!
* For a spicier chili, add hot sauce as desired.
