Smartphone screen protector filters some blue light

Blue light filter and screen protector form Spy Optic

A new smartphone screen protector can block some blue light that can be harmful while allow beneficial blue light to pass through.

Spy Optic says its screen protector, “… knows the difference between harmful short-wave blue light and beneficial long-wave. It only blocks the bad blue light, along with harmful UV rays.

“Overexposure to short-wave blue light creates fatigue and can even damage eyes. But long-wave blue light can promote happiness-inducing serotonin, as well as melatonin, which can help increase calmness and improve sleep.”

Spy Optic says its screen protector is made of tempered glass, which has a scratch-resistant coating and beveled edges to help prevent nicks and chipping.

Fits iPhone 6 and 6s.
