This compact device is said by its maker to activate more muscles and burn more calories. There is a resistance band that runs through the tubing. You pull the bars apart so that the webbing flattens and then keep the webbing flat through the exercises to activate more muscles. This imparts both lateral resistance created by the bar and vertical resistance created by the resistance bands.
