Fleetline recently announce its new wide-base tire poly fenders are now available through original equipment dealerships in the U.S. and Canada.
The company said the fenders are an alternative for customers who need a cost-effective spray suppression solution for wide-base tires. They are designed specifically for use with wide-base tires, and are “an ideal fit for fleets looking to reduce costs and improve fuel savings,” said a statement from Fleetline.
The new fenders are 19” wide and constructed of a lightweight high density polyethylene material that is durable with UV and corrosion resistance. They are available in single axle, half and full tandem designs. Fleetline said the poly fenders weigh less than half of what stainless steel versions weigh, saving freight capacity and fuel.
“Wide base tire technology has improved significantly over the years resulting in more fleets operating with these tires,” said Kyle Denu, president of Fleetline. “We feel our super single fenders compliment these advances by providing fenders that are lightweight and designed to reduce fuel consumption.”
