Count calories cautiously when dining out

If you’re counting calories, be wary of nutrition labels on restaurant menus. Researchers say that more than 20 percent of menu items averaged 100 calories more than what the restaurants claimed.

To be safe, cut your meal in half to ensure the healthiest portion size.
