Amazon prime continues to turn up the heat on other streaming services, adding more content and prodding more original programs of its own. Come April, you’ll get a chance to see more of both.

Clint Eastwood stars in “Escape from alcatraz”

A real highlight of Amazon Prime’s April is the classic 1979 Clint Eastwood film Escape from Alcatraz. This movie dramatizes what may have been the only successful escape from the legendary island prison in the Pacific Ocean. The movie was the debut for Danny Glover.
