Brian Wilson, the musical genius that created the Beach Boys and so much more, delivers a new solo album next week (April 7) punliscioulsy titled No Pier Pressure. It features some old friends from his Beach days, Al Jardine, David Marks and Blondie Chaplin. Wilson is also joined on No Pier Pressure by country singer Kacey Musgraves, both She & Him Zooey Deschanel and M. Ward and Nat Ruess from Fun. You can expect to see Wilson, now 72 years old, and most of these folks, and some other musicians, on a tour in support of this, the 11th solo studio album of Wilson’s. In June comes a biopic about Wilson, Love & Mercy starring John Cusack. MP3 on Amazon costs $11.49 and the CD is $36.98.
