The Traveling Kind | Emmylou Harris and Rodney Crowell
Two talented old friends are joining forces for a second collection of duets. The Traveling Kind is a new album (due out in early May) featuring Emmylou Harris and Rodney Crowell. It’s a followup to their 2013 album Old Yellow Moon, which won the year’s Grammy Award as the best Americana album. Harris and Crowell wrote six of the 11 cuts on the new album with co-writing credits for Mary Carr, Cory Chisel, Will Jennings and Larry Klein. Harris and Crowell have carved out prominent places in American musical history for themselves, and The Traveling Kind furthers their legacy as an outstanding duo.
