For That Heart-Warming Smile
Signed, Sealed, Delivered: The Complete Series is the Hallmark series about — are you ready for this? — a group of postal service detectives who try to find the intended recipients of undeliverable dead letters. It stars Eric Mabius, Kristin Booth, Crystal Lowe (who, oddly enough, made a name for herself starring in horror films before coming to the light side) and Geoff Gustafson and a slew of guest stars that change from episode to episode. SSD was created by the folks who brouhgt you Touched By An Angel, to give you a better idea of where it’s coming from.
For That #TBT Sorta Feeling
You may have loved him as Jack Burton in Big Trouble In Little China, or as Wyatt Earp in Tombstone, but Kurt Russell was never better than as Snake Plissken in Escape from New York. This 1981 sci-fi thriller revolves around Plissken having 22 hours to rescue the president of the United States from bad guys after Air Force One crashes in Manhattan, which, oh by the way, is now one huge prison. No one has rocked an eye patch like Snake. All action. All adventure. All the time. This is a deluxe Blu-ray edition with plenty of goodies.
For That Reality TV Weirdness
If your worst fear is being naked and stranded in a harsh environment to survive on your wits alone, then Naked & Afraid: Season 1 is not for you. This Discovery Channel series follows several survival experts who are naked and dropped off in various locations. Think of Survivor without the head games and competition … and the clothes.
