Mike Morgan, driving the Powershift Performance #88 Mack, won the Meritor ChampTruck racing series season-opening event this past weekend at the New Jersey Morotsports Park in Millville.
Morgan is a Mack diesel mechanic in Nashville, Tenn.
In second was Ricky Proffitt, from Weaverville, N.C. driving Jupiter Motorsports Team Rude’s #14 Peterbilt.
In third was Mike Ryan in the Optima Batteries Freightliner Columbia.
Organizers say more than 1,000 spectators were at the first event of the season.
