Meet Me in Bluesland is pure Southern Rock and classic Headhunters. The title track is a showcase for Johnson and almost six full minutes of the kind of music that defines the blues. Fast Train is sweet instrumental, but it’stheir cover of the Chuck Berry hit Little Queenie that may be one of the album’s brightest spots.
