The Iowa 80 Truckstop announced its musical lineup for this year’s Walcott Truckers Jamboree, and it’s loaded with country. The 36th annual jamboree, is July 9-11 at Iowa 80 Truckstop, I-80 Exit 284 in Walcott, Iowa.

“We have a fun, high energy line up this year,” said Heather DeBaillie, marketing manager. “Every act will be a crowd pleaser.”

Here’s who plays when:

Thursday, July 9

North of 40 and Natalie Stovall & The Drive “North of 40 is a popular local band that always puts on a good show,” said DeBaillie. “Natalie Stovall has a powerful voice and can play a mean fiddle. Last year, the group was named as a ‘must see’ act by Rolling Stone Country.”

Lindsay Lawler and The Josh Abbott Band DeBaillie says, “Lindsay is the spokesperson for trucking’s Highway Angel Program and brings a lot of spunk to her performance.” And about the Josh Abbott Band DeBaillie said, “They are bringing the party to Walcott. We’ll be glad to have them perform here again.”

Saturday, July 11

Dani Lynn Howe & Band “Anyone who knows Dani or listens to her morning show knows she is full of energy. It’s going to be a great event,” said DeBaillie.

The jamboree also features a Super Truck Beauty Contest, antique truck display; Iowa pork chop cookout; over 175 exhibits, Trucker Olympics; carnival games; two fireworks displays and a 100th birthday party for Iowa 80 Trucking Museum’s 1915 Mack AB.
