After 40 years in the rock industry, Rush launched their R40 Live tour earlier this year.
Now fans can experience the R40 Live tour, the band’s last major tour, for themselves from the comfort of their own truck cabs. A concert film in CD/Blu-ray/DVD formats is due out Nov. 20, featuring songs from the band’s entire career.
For the concert’s tour videos, the band invited several guests to feature on the rap part of “Roll The Bones,” one of their most popular songs. Guests included Jay Baruchel of “She’s Out of My League,” Les Claypool of Primus, Peter Dinklage of “Game of Thrones,” Tom Morello of Rage Against The Machine and Audioslave, Chad Smith of Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Trailer Park Boys, and Jason Segel and Paul Rudd of “I Love You, Man.”
The Rush R40 Live concert film is set for release Nov. 20 and is available as a 3-CD/1 Blur-ray set, 3-CD/1 Dvd set, 3-CD set (audio only), single-disc Blu-ray and single-disc DVD. The release’s track listing for each format:
