Truckers News isn’t the only one with a Veterans Day salute planned.
Restaurants across the country are offering free meals and discounts to show their appreciation for veterans and military personnel.

These restaurants are offering specials:
- Applebee’s: Veterans and active military receive a free meal from a limited dine-in menu Nov. 11 from restaurant open to close. Beverage and gratuity are not included.
- Bar Louie: Veterans and active military personnel receive a free meal Nov. 10-11 from store open to close.
- Bob Evans: Veterans and active military receive a free dine-in breakfast all day during store hours on Nov. 11.
- Bonanza Steakhouses: Veterans, inactive and active military receive a free buffet on Nov. 11 from 4 p.m. to close.
- Cattlemens: Veterans and active military receive a free 8 ounce Sirloin steak dinner on Nov. 11 .
- Chili’s: Veterans and active military receive a free entree from a limited menu on Nov. 11.
- Denny’s: Veterans, inactive and active military receive a free Build Your Own Grand Slam on Nov. 11 from 5 a.m. to noon.
- Golden Corral: Veterans, active military, National Guard and Reserves receive a free dine-in meal on Nov. 11 from 5-9 p.m.
- IHOP: Participating locations will offer free Red, White and Blue pancakes to veterans and active duty military on Nov. 11 from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.
- Iowa 80 Kitchen: Truck drivers who are veterans receive free meals (up to $15) on Nov. 11.
- Krystal: Veterans and active military receive a free chicken or sausage biscuit from 6 a.m. – 11 a.m. on Nov. 11.
- Little Caesars: Veterans and active military receive a free $5 lunch combo on Nov. 11 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
- McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood Restaurants: Veterans receive a complimentary entree from a limited menu on Nov. 8.
- Max & Erma’s: Veterans receive complimentary choice of a cup of soup or a side of salad, a 6 ounce cheesburger with endless seasoned fries and a cookie. This offer is valid Nov. 11.
- Mission BBQ: Veterans and active military receive a free sandwich and slice of cake on Nov. 11.
- O’Charley’s: Veterans and active military receive a free $9.99 meal on Nov. 9 and a free pie on Nov. 11.
- On the Border: Veterans and active military receive a free “Create Your Own Combo menu” meal on Nov. 11.
- Orange Leaf: Veterans and active military receive a free cup of froyo, up to 11 ounces, on Nov. 11.
- Ponderosa Steakhouse: Veterans and active military receive a free buffet Nov. 11 from 4 p.m. to close.
- Red Hot & Blue: Veterans receive a free entree with the purchase of two drinks and a second entree of equal of greater value Nov. 9-11. Coupon required.
- Red Robin: Veterans active military receive a free Red’s Tavern Double Burger with bottomless steak fries on Nov. 11.
- Rock and Brews: Veterans and active military receive a free pulled pork sandwich with a side of choice on Nov. 11.
- Sheetz: Veterans and active military receive a free 6 inch turkey sub, regular size fountain drink and carwash on Nov. 11.
- Shoney’s: Veterans and active military receive a free All-American burger on Nov. 11.
- Spaghetti Warehouse: Veterans receive a second entree free with the purchase of a first entree Nov. 10-11. Coupon required.
- TA and Petro: Truck drivers who are veterans receive a free meal (up to $15 value) on Nov. 11
- Texas Roadhouse: Veterans and military personnel receive a free dine-in lunch from a limited menu on Nov. 11.
- Uno Pizzeria & Grill: Veterans and active military receive a free entree or individual pizza with an entree or pizza purchase of equal or greater value on Nov. 11.
- Village Inn: Veterans and active military receive a free breakfast from a limited menu on Nov. 11.
- White Castle: Veterans and active military receive a free Breakfast Slider and a small coffee or soft drink on Nov. 11.
- Wienerschnitzel: Veterans and active military receive a free chili dog and small Pepsi on Nov. 11.
All offers are applicable only at participating locations with proof of service.
