Netflix adds new action adventure drama ‘Frontier’ in 2016

Netflix is adding a new action adventure drama series “Frontier” in 2016 starring Jason Momoa of “Game of Thrones.”

The first season has six one-hour episodes. It follows the struggle to control wealth in the 18th century North American fur trade.  

Also starring in the series are Alun Armstrong (“New Tricks,” “Braveheart”), Landon Liboiron (“Hemlock Grove,” “Degrassi”), Zoe Boyle (“Downton Abbey,” “Sons of Anarchy”) and Allan Hawco (“Republic of Doyle,” “The Book of Negroes”).
