Meals for 18 Wheels will deliver Christmas dinners to truck drivers in need of a meal while they’re hauling during the holidays.
This year, Christmas meals will be delivered Christmas Eve and Christmas Day: Thursday, Dec. 24 and Friday, Dec. 25. They will put up a Facebook post Thursday to collect the expected stopping location and contact information of drivers in need of a meal. The group will then match that driver with a volunteer in the area, who will deliver a Christmas meal to them.
The volunteer organization arranges meals for truck drivers in need through a public Facebook page throughout the year.
