4 sketch comedies to keep up with on Hulu

Sketches are a classic staple in the comedy genre.  Keep yourself entertained and light-spirited with some laughs from these four sketch comedies, which all have episodes streaming on Hulu.

1. Saturday Night Live

SNL has aired over 300 episodes, and Hulu has most of them available for streaming. The late night sketch comedy series premiered in 1975 under its then title of NBC’s Saturday Night. The series mixes comedy sketches from known comedians with celebrity guests for a hilarious evening treat. Hulu has select seasons available for streaming, with a total of 347 episodes available.

2. Inside Amy Schumer

Amy Schumer gives new meaning to the girl-next-door with her comedic but poignant take on dating and social life. Schumer created and hosts the show, which first came to Comedy Central in 2013. The show’s range includes sketches, stand-up, interviews and more. Seasons 1-3 are available for streaming on Hulu. 

3. Party Over Here

Comedic newcomer Party Over Here premiered on Fox on March 12. It’s co-created by the Emmy-award winning and Grammy Award-nominated The Lonely Island, a trio of writers and performers including Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer and Jorma Taccone. The show stars three lead female comedians: Nicole Byer, Jessica McKenna and Alison Rich. All seven of the current episodes are available for streaming on Hulu.

4. Kroll Show

Comedian Nick Kroll’s Kroll Show serves as a social satire. Kroll takes on various personas for mock reality shows picking fun at some of the leading shows on television, like Keeping Up With The Kardashians and Duck Dynasty. Seasons 1-3 are available for streaming on Hulu.

Bonus: Key & Peele

Comedy duo Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele combine their wit to take on pop culture, current events and more for their sketch series. The series ended in 2015 after 53 episodes, all of which are available on Hulu.
