Watch This: Spy movie is really a solid comedy

Kingsman: Secret Service | Rated R

If you’re a fan of 007-like spy movies, but also want a good laugh, then you may wish to checkout Kingsman: Secret Service. (Think Men in Black set in England and without the aliens.) Taron Egerton is recruited by spymaster Colin Firth in an attempt to put a stop to the evil-genius-of-the-week — played by Samuel L. jackson — trying to totally disrupt life on Earth with his massive wealth and technology. The plot sounds like a downer, and to be sure there is plenty of mayhem, but make no doubt, Kingsman is a comedy, and a good one at that. Suggested retail price: $29.98; Blu-ray $39.99
