The Lawler hauler on the road.If you’re passing through Arkansas Thursday, Sept. 15, get ready to be appreciated in many ways.
The Arkansas Trucking Association will be serving hot dogs, hamburgers and chicken sandwiches Thursday at the TravelCenters of America/Petro Stopping Center on I-40 at the Galloway Exit in North Little Rock as part of National Truck Driver Appreciation Week.
Activities will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
In addition to the food, there will be games and live entertainment featuring singer/songwriter Lindsay Lawler, spokesperson for Truckload Carriers Association’s Highway Angel program. Her concert will take place around noon.
