Businesses offering special deals on Veterans Day

Businesses across the U.S., from restaurants to shoe stores, are honoring veterans with discounts and deals for Veterans Day.

These Veterans Day specials include everything from free meals to free access to national parks.

  • Applebee’s: Veterans and active military receive a free meal from a limited dine-in menu Friday Nov. 11 from restaurant open to close. Beverage and gratuity are not included.
  • Bob Evans: Veterans and active duty military personnel receive free select menu items and a 10 percent discount from Nov. 12-31 for dine-in and carry out meals.
  • Chili’s: Veterans and active duty military personnel receive a free meal from a dedicated menu of five choices.
  • Chipotle: Veterans and active duty military personnel are eligible for a buy-one-get-one deal on Nov. 11. The offer is also open to reserves, national guard and military spouses. They may receive a free burrito, burrito bowl, taco order or salad with the purchase of an entree.
  • Cracker Barrel Old Country Store: Veterans receive a complimentary piece of Double Chocolate Fudge Coca-Cola Cake for dessert on Nov. 11.
  • Denny’s: Veterans and military personnel receive a free Build Your Own Grand Slam on Nov. 11 from 5 a.m. to noon.
  • Famous Dave’s: Veterans receive a free Two Meat BBQ Salute on Nov. 11.
  • Golden Corral: Military personnel may receive a free dine-in dinner on Nov. 14.
  • Hooters: Veterans and active military personnel may receive a free entree from the Hooter’s Veterans Day Menu on Nov. 11. 
  • IHOP: Veterans and active military personnel may receive free Red, White and Blue Veterans Day Pancakes on Nov. 11.
  • Krispy Kreme: Veterans may receive a free donut and small coffee.
  • LongHorn Steakhouse: Veterans and military personnel may receive a free appetizer or dessert. Guest that dine with veterans on Nov. 11 are also eligible for 10 percent off.
  • Max and Erma’s: Veterans and active military receive a free cheeseburger, endless seasoned fries and a fountain drink on Nov. 11.
  • National Parks: National parks will be accessible for free on Nov. 11 to honor veterans.
  • On The Border: Veterans receive a free dine-in lunch combo plate entree on Nov. 11.
  • Outback Steakhouse: Veterans and active military personnel receive a free Bloomin’ Onion and non-alcoholic beverage on Nov. 11.
  • Pilot Flying J: The company will donate a portion of its proceeds, up to $25,000, from the sale of 20 and 24-ounce PhilMor travel coffee refills on Veterans Day to Wreaths Across America.
  • Rack Room Shoes: Veterans and military personnel receive 10 percent off their purchase on Nov. 11.
  • Red Lobster: Veterans receive a free appetizer or dessert on Nov. 10-11.
  • Red Robin: Veterans may receive a free Red’s Tavern Double Burger and bottomless steak fries on Nov. 11. 
  • TravelCenters of America/Petro: All truck drivers who are veterans may receive a complimentary meal from a select menu and a beverage on Nov. 11 at all participating TA or Petro sit-down restaurants nationwide.
  • Texas Roadhouse: Veterans and active military personnel may select a free entree from the designed Veterans Menu on Nov. 11.
  • TGI Fridays: Veterans and active duty military personnel receive a free complimentary lunch on Nov. 11.
  • Twin Peaks: Veterans receive a free menu item on Nov. 11.

All offers are applicable only at participating locations with proof of service.
