Amazon is adding HBO and Cinemax to its Amazon Channels platform. This will allow Prime members to stream those channels’ content through an add-on subscription to their account.
Prime members can get a trial subscription to these channels for 30 days. The HBO subscription is then $14.99 per month thereafter; The Cinemax subscription will be $9.99 per month.
The HBO subscription lets users stream all episodes of HBO series, movies, news and other video content. The Cinemax subscription gives users streaming access to its collection of series and movies, including American Sniper and Mad Max: Fury Road.
