As Veterans Day approaches, businesses nationwide are announcing freebies and discounts for the men and women of the U.S. military.
Many places are offering free meals or desserts, and some places are offering general discounts in honor of Veterans Day, which is Saturday, Nov. 11.
Be sure to meet truck drivers who served in the military in our annual Salute to Veterans.
Veterans Day specials:
- Applebee’s: Veterans can choose a free meal from seven entrees on Nov. 11 at participating locations. Veterans and active duty military must show proof of service to redeem this offer. There is a limit of one meal per veteran or active duty military and the offer is dine-in only.
- Boston Market: Veterans can buy one meal individual meal and drink and get one individual meal free in the restaurant Nov. 10-12. They must present the online coupon to redeem this offer.
- Chicken Salad Chick: Veterans and service members can receive a free Chick Meal and drink with proof of service No. 10 at all locations. This offer includes one scoop or sandwich plus one scoop, side or cup of soup.
- Cracker Barrel Old Country Store: Veterans and military service members can receive a free slice of Double Chocolate Fudge Coca-Cola cake Nov. 11. This offer is valid at all locations.
- Famous Dave’s: Veterans and active duty military can receive a free Two Meat Salute, with their choice of two meats, served with a choice of one side and a cornbread muffin. This offer is valid for dine-in Nov. 11 at participating locations with proof of service.
- Farmer Boys: Veterans and service members can receive a free Big Cheese cheeseburger with proof of service Nov. 10.
- Fazoli’s: Veterans and service members can receive a free spaghetti with marinara or meat sauce Nov. 10-12 with proof of service. No purchase is necessary.
- Firebirds Wood Fired Grill: Veterans and service members can receive a free meal when they dine with someone who purchases a meal Nov. 10.
- Golden Corral: Veterans and military service members can receive a free dine-in dinner Nov. 13 from 5-9 p.m.
- Hooter’s: Veterans and military service members can receive a free entree from a select menu Nov. 11 with proof of service. This is offer is redeemable at participating locations with the purchase of a beverage.
- IHOP: Veterans and service members can receive a free Red, White & Blue Pancakes Nov. 10 with proof of service. This offer is for dine-in only.
- Krispy Kreme: Veterans and military service members can receive a free donut and small coffee at participating locations Nov. 11. No purchase is necessary and no coupon or ID is required.
- Max and Erma’s: Veterans and military service members can receive a free cheeseburger, endless seasoned fries and a fountain drink Nov. 11 at participating locations.
- National Parks: U.S. National Parks will be accessible for free Nov. 11-12 to honor veterans.
- On The Border: Veterans and military service members can receive a free Create-Your-Own Combo Meal with rice and beans plus chips and salsa Nov. 11. Offer is valid at participating locations with proof of service.
- Olive Garden: Veterans and active duty military can receive a free entree Nov. 11.
- Rack Room Shoes: Veterans, military service personnel, and their dependents can receive 10 percent off their entire purchase Nov. 11 with proof of service.
- Red Lobster: Veterans and military service members can receive a free appetizer or dessert from a select menu Nov. 11 with proof of service.
- Red Robin: Veterans and military service members can receive a free Red’s Tavern Double Burger and bottomless steak fries No. 11 with proof of service at participating locations. No purchase is necessary. This offer is not valid in Alaska.
- Spaghetti Warehouse: Veterans and service members can redeem a Buy One Get One Free offer Nov. 10-12. They may choose from lasagne, any original recipe spaghetti entree of grilled chicken alfredo. It will be served with sourdough bread and choice of salad or soup. The is a dine-in only offer and a coupon is required for redemption.
- Texas Roadhouse: Veterans and military service members can receive a free lunch from a select menu Nov. 11 with proof of service. This offer includes a choice of non-alcoholic beverage and is for dine-in only.
