Morris, Musgraves top country Grammy nominations

Maren Morris and Kacey Musgraves each received three nominations for the 61st Grammy Awards. This year’s nominees were announced Friday.

Morris earned Best Country Group/Duo and Best Country Song nods for “Dear Hate,” her collaboration with Vince Gill, as well as a Best Country Solo Performance nomination for her cover of Elton John’s “Mona Lisas and Mad Hatters.”

Musgraves’ Golden Hour was among the Best Country Album nominees, as was her recording “Butterflies” for Best Country Solo Performance and “Space Cowboy” for Best Country Song.
