Each year, an average of more than 1,250 tornadoes touch down in the U.S. delivering death and destruction. Often truckers may be on the open highway and at risk when a storm occurs.

We’re writing about tornado season and want to hear from drivers who experienced a tornado while driving.

We want to know about:

  • What happened and how you dealt with it?
  • Have you ever had to stop driving and find shelter?
  • Ever ride out a tornado parked at a truck stop or on the side of an interstate?
  • Have you ever used one of the shelters some states have at rest stops?
  • What ought to be done to provide more protection for truckers?
  • What’s your advice to other drivers?

Tell us about your experience.

Thanks, and stay safe this tornado season.
