I wanted an armband tattoo for more than 10 years and following my divorce last year I decided to get something that resembled a tree branch symbolizing rebirth and renewal. Originally, I was going to go for Japanese cherry blossoms but I didn’t want real big cherry blossoms so my wonderful tattoo artist, Dre, out of Shades of Black in Niles, Michigan came up with this design and I love it.
