The wait is over: the Mid-America Trucking Show is back.
The 52nd annual show opens Thursday at the Kentucky Expo Center in Louisville, and features:
- more than 850 exhibitors in 1 million square feet of exhibit space
- the PKY Truck Beauty contest
- Big Rig Build Off competition
- dozens of educational presentations by industry experts
- a free concert
- truck and tractor pull competition
- a free truck parking community
The show begins Thursday with a VIP opening from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and concludes with an after-show reception featuring music, food, Wall of Fame induction, craft beer, and a bourbon tasting.
One of Thursday's highlights will be the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration's Truck Leasing Task Force meeting. This begins at 10 a.m. in the South Wing Conference Room, C 108.

The opening reception begins at 6 p.m. in the South Lobby.
The evening concludes with a truck light show at 8 p.m. in Lot N in front of the West Wing.
Friday features the free concert featuring Tony Justice and The Steel Woods in Freedom Hall. Show hours Friday are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The show concludes Saturday with the MAC Trailers Winter Nationals Championship Pulling event, also in Freedom Hall. Saturday the show runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
