Eddie Lack: ‘Kindest man you will ever meet’

Eddie has worked since he was 16 doing factory work and other manual labor jobs, but 14 years ago he had to have back surgery. He went on disability but did not want to sit around the rest of his life with the taxpayers picking up his tab, so he took advantage of the program they offer and went to college and completed a truck driving program.

He has spent the last 11 years on the road only coming home three or four days a month, missing both his kids growing up just so we don’t lose our home. He is the kindest man you will ever meet. He has a mentally handicapped son who is just turning 18 and a 21 year old daughter who is a senior at Lyon College and me his wife of 23 years and we all love him more than anything else in the world.
