West Side Transport opened a new terminal in Columbus, Ohio recently to accommodate growing regional business and increase home daily driving positions.

The Columbus terminal is the company’s fifth nationally and its only one in Ohio.

The terminal lets West Side Transport create a home daily position and offers a better connection to drivers living in Columbus and surrounding areas, says Ron Joseph, the company’s chief operations officer.

“Our main concerns are providing a quality paycheck, getting the driver home and treating every driver with the respect they deserve and by having a terminal located near our driver base,” Joseph said. “This facility will help us in accomplishing these goals.”

Home weekly and home twice weekly positions are open to drivers with experience and recent truck driving school graduates.
