Three professional drivers were recently honored by one of the nation's leading travel center companies.
Pilot Flying J announced the winner and runners-up in its annual Road Warrior contest. They included:
- Eric Curlett, winner
- Eduardo Andrade, second
- David Rosenquist, third
Curlett, a 20-year Marine Corps veteran who today drivers for Maverick Transportation, won $10,000. He learned of his win during a surprise video event during which Jim Haslam, founder of Pilot Flying J, congratulated him.
"You represent everything that is good about the truck drivers of this great company," Haslam said.
Andrade won $5,000 and Rosenquist received $2,500.
This was the eighth year for the Road Warrior contest.
