The Big Trucks Cooking group on Facebook is for truck drivers looking to share their own recipes or take some pointers from what other truckers have shared.
The group has over 8,000 members and, according to its description, serves all eating habits and diet types. The group focuses on recipes that can be made in a truck.
“We are a truckers cooking group that likes to share what we make out here on the open road,” reads the group’s description.
The group hosts an annual cook off competition. The 6th Anuual Big Truck Cooking Cook-Off Challenge is May 15-31, with winners announced June 1.
Competitors can submit their recipes on the Big Trucks Cooking Facebook page and votes are tallied as likes. This year’s competition is focusing on salads as a main dish. The first place winner will receive a Roadpro lunchbox cooker.
