The recipe has the classics needed for a good marinara: onion, garlic, basil, oregano, crushed red pepper flakes and tomatoes. The ingredients get mixed together in a 4-5 quart slow cooker and that’s it. Just let it cook on low for about six hours. This recipe yields about 2 1/2 quarts.
