With flu season right around the corner, the St. Christopher Truckers Relief Fund is continuing to offer free flu vaccinations to Class A CDL holders.

Truckers who want a free flu shot can print a voucher from the SCF website and redeem it at Kroger, The Little Clinic, Walgreen’s or The Medicine Shoppe at White’s Travel Center. Free shingles and pneumonia vaccines are also available with SCF vouchers. Drivers must present their Class A CDL license when they redeem the voucher.

The Centers for Disease Control has said its impossible to predict the severity of this year’s flu season as well as its start, but the organization advises individuals to get a flu shot before the end of October. According to the CDC, flu activity in the U.S. usually peaks between December and February, with flu activity usually beginning to increase in October and November.
