Is there anything better than a hot beef stew on a cold day? Take a break from the snow and cold outside with the slow cooker version of this classic comfort food.

This recipe is a little more involved than other standard slow cooker recipes, taking about 40 minutes to prep. It also has a long ingredients list, so maybe save this one as a dinner option for when you want to treat yourself. This recipe cooks in a little over eight hours and yields seven servings.

Broths, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, onions and other seasonings help this recipe pack on the flavor. Cooking for eight hours allows the beef to become incredibly savory and tender.
