Old Dominion Freight Line Inc. has opened a new service center in Watertown, S.D., and an expanded service center in Oshkosh, Wis.
The Thomasville, N.C.-based less-than-truckload carrier said it opened its third South Dakota facility because of increasing population and economic growth in the region. The one-acre 12-door service center employs five people.
Old Dominion said it expanded its Oshkosh facility because of the region’s resurging paper industry. The eight-acre 48-door service center created 15 new jobs and replaced a 37-door facility the company had operated for 15 years.
