Leader of Oklahoma Trucking Association passes

Dan Case

Dan Case, a veteran of the trucking industry and executive director of the Oklahoma Trucking Association passed recently. There’s this from the association:

“It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of Executive Director Dan Case on September 17, after a brave, nearly year-long battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife, Barbra, son, Travis, daughter, Mary Beth, father Clark, brother Ken and sister-in-law Janet.

“Dan began his tenure as Executive Director of the Oklahoma Trucking Association in May of 2002 after a 35 year career in trucking. He was a champion of the industry and the association, building strong bonds with local law enforcement. Through his work with legislative leaders in Oklahoma, he forever improved the trucking industry in our great state.

“He will be dearly missed as he was not just a colleague, but also a friend to many. He was beloved and held in high regard with all who came in contact with him. Our condolences go out to his family, and we wish to respect their privacy during this difficult time.”

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Oklahoma Thoroughbred Retirement Program or the Bella Foundation.
