Latest Love’s in NM offers CNG service

Love’s has opened a new travel stop recently on I-40 in Albuquerque, and it’s the latest to offer compressed natural gas service.

Tom Love (center), founder and executive chairman of Love’s joined staffers at the opening of the newest travel stop on I-40.

Located at Exit 149, the new location is the sixth to include Love’s Fast-Fill CNG along the 1,000-mile stretch of I-40 from Albuquerque and West Memphis, Ark.

The new store also offers:

  • seven showers
  • 65 parking spaces
  • RFID cardless fueling
  • CAT scales
  • Love’s Truck Tire Care center

Other services at the new 24/7 location include gourmet coffee, fresh fruit, gift items, name-brand electronics and Carl’s Jr. and Green Burrito restaurants.

“Love’s now has a total of 16 locations offering Love’s Fast-Fill CNG, and this is our first location with the alternative fuel offering in New Mexico,” said Greg Love, co-CEO of Love’s. “Love’s has operated in Albuquerque proudly for more than 30 years. Our new store will have the same excellent customer service and our newest amenities.”

According to the Alternative Fuels Data Center, Love’s is the fourth facility in Albuquerque to offer CNG and the seventh in the state.

The existing Love’s Travel Stop in Williams, Ariz., will begin offering CNG later this year.

For a limited time, professional drivers can earn up to five points with their “My Love Rewards” loyalty cards at all Love’s locations.

Love’s has more than 350 locations in 40 states.
