Police in Florida continue to search for an orange mid-2000’s Freightliner with a white trailer suspected of having been driven by a man who shot and killed another trucker on I-10 in Jacksonville, Florida Saturday, May 7, afternoon. Authorities say the shooting may have been the result of a road rage incident that escalated.
The victim, who is reported to be a white man in his mid-40s, crashed his truck into the woods along I-10 when shot. Florida Highway Patrol officers are said to have found the victim dead behind the wheel of his truck. His identity has not been released pending notification of family.
Police are asking anyone who sees the truck or has other information about the incident to contact the Sheriff’s Office at (904) 630-0500.
