The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s New England chapter recognized Arpin Group at the 2016 Environmental Merit Awards ceremony recently.
Some of Arpin Group’s environmentally friendly accomplishments, according to an Arpin news release, include:
- First company in the moving industry to perform the S-CORE Multi-purpose Sustainability Assessment from the International Society of Sustainability Professionals
- Investments in solar panel research and development for use on moving trucks to reduce engine runtime and fuel consumption
- Establishing a sustainability committee
- Installing a second major solar array at its headquarters
