He also won first place in the Twin Trailers class.
Another FedEx Freight driver, Taylor Higgins, was named Rookie of the Year.
The annual competition was held June 2 in Henderson. It was organized by the Colorado Motor Carriers Association.

4-Axle: Dutch Burch, FedEx Freight
5-Axle: Jason West, McLane Food Service
Tank Truck: Chris Perna, FedEx Freight
Flatbed: Ralph Tibbetts, FedEx Freight
Sleeper Berth: Brook Figgins, FedEx Freight
Twin Trailers: Todd Flippin, FedEx Freight
