The St. Christopher Trucker Relief Fund got a large financial boost at the Great American Trucking Show in Dallas Thursday. TravelCenters-TA-Petro and High Noon Sales presented the organization with a check for $84,400 derived from the sale of St. Christopher Fund merchandise. Tina Arundel, corporate communications manager, TravelCenters of America (center), presented the check to Shannon Currier, director of Philanthropy and Development (left) and Donna Kennedy, executive director of the St. Christopher Truckers Relief Fund (right).
In partnership with High Noon Sales, TravelCenters donated $1 from each item of SCF merchandise sold in its TA, Petro and TA Express travel stores since May 2019. High Noon products including phone chargers, flashlights, hats and cups were imprinted with SCF’s logo and sold at participating travel stores.
“We are honored to be a part of this important fundraising program for the SCF,” said Barry Richards, president and COO of TravelCenters. “Our customers, both professional drivers and the motoring public, have made this campaign a success. This is truly about people taking care of other people.”
