A truck carrying hiney bees crashed in Mississippi (MHP photo)First responders had their hands full Sunday, March 15, as a tractor-trailer loaded with honey bees overturned on Interstate 20 near mile marker 102.
Mississippi Highway Patrol officers report some of the bees escaped but swarmed around the flatbed that was transporting them. They report volunteer beekeepers helped collect the bees and get them safely back on the truck, which continued on to its destination.
Police report the trucker was not injured.
