A trucker was injured Monday, Aug. 10, when their tractor-trailer struck three fire trucks that had responded to an earlier incident on Interstate 85 in North Carolina.
The North Carolina Highway Patrol says the incident occurred near the Yadkin River Bridge, at mile marker 82, between Charlotte and Greensboro. Officers say the tractor-trailer struck three Millers Ferry fire trucks.
The unidentified trucker was injured, but authorities did say how serious their injuries were. No firefighters were injured.
