The driver of a tractor-trail that caught fire in South Dakota Wednesday, Oct. 14. was uninjured in the blze.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol reports the 44-year-old driver was on Interstate 29 near the Tea Exit at about 4 a,m. when he noticed smoke coming from the trailer. He pulled over to the east shoulder of the interstate where his rig became engulfed in flames. He was able to get out without getting injured.
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office said there was a secondary crash due to vehicles trying to drive around their patrol cars.
