PITT OHIO has announced the addition of two Class 7 Freightliner electric box trucks to its Cleveland, Ohio fleet. The 26-foot battery electric eM2 box trucks will be operated out of PITT OHIO’s Cleveland terminal as part of its LTL freight shipping business.

The charger is part of PITT OHIO’s overall electrical system, which includes their patented renewable energy microgrid that is powered by on-site solar and wind.

Perfectly designed for local and regional delivery routes in the greater Cleveland area, the emissions-free and highly maneuverable Class 7 trucks have 291 kWh battery capacity and can be recharged at PITT OHIO’s facility in Parma, Ohio within 60 minutes time (80%).
